According to Statistics Canada Core retail sales rose unexpectedly in October.
Statement indicates that index, excluding automobile sales increased by 0.7%, highly above 0.4% rise expectations.
Retail sales rose 1.0% to 38.6 billion dollars in October, also higher than 0.4% forecast for growth.
