Canadian Housing Starts which measure the annualized number of new residential buildings that begun construction during the previous month was released at a much better pace than initially calculated and forecasted.
June's Housing Starts came out at 197,000 news buildings starting construction, uo by 15,000 permits rather than 182,000 as expected.
