The report of Markit/CIPS showed today that construction purchasing managers index declined to 55.8 in April, instead of 54.1 reading expected.
This means that index remains in expansion area.
Previous month data showed 56.7 points reading.
The couple GBP/USD was traded at 1.6218 after news release.
