The Consumer Confidence Index recovered a little bit in the month of July when reports were announced at 59.2. Economists were expecting the Index to fall from 59.2 to 52.1. Instead, it dropped even lower to 44.5.
The Euro is currently trading at 1.4435 against the U.S Dollar. The pair went as low as 1.4398, and as high as 1.4535.
