There has been to surprise after European Central Bank announced no change in its minimum bid rate in June. The Governing Council informed that the benchmark interest rate will remain at 1.0%, rate on the marginal lending facility-1.75% and deposit facility- 0.25%. The decision extends record-low interest rate for sixth successive month. U.S. dollar was traded lower against EUR after decision was reviled at 1.2493.
