According to Markit the Euro zone services activity reminded contracted for the last quarter of 2011.
Services Purchasing Managers’ Index increase to 48.8 in December, over 48.3 estimated.
The activity growth was reported in Germany and France. On the other hand Italy and Spain data showed sharp decrease.
Euro lowered against U.S. dollar after Markit report, EUR/USD traded at 1.3036.
