The euro area’s seasonally adjusted current account deficit recorded 1.8 billion euro in November. October’s data was revised from EUR6.6 billion to EUR7.5 billion of deficit.
Today’s report of ECB is disappointing for analysts, who estimated surplus 0.5 billion euro reading.
The European Central Bank also announced that the 12-month cumulated current account deficit reach the level of EUR44.9 billion in November. Last year’s figure showed 34.6 billion euro deficit.
