Report prepared by Markit Economics showed today that manufacturing purchasing managers’ index declined in March to 47.7 points after reaching 49.0 in February.
It is an eight successive reading, showing contraction in this area.
As for services PMI, index dropped by 0.1% comparing with February and totaled at 48.7 points.
The composite PMI index for euro zone (including manufacturing and services) showed a reading of 48.7 points, against 49.3 previous month.
