Trade surplus in euro zone widened in May- Eurostat, the statistical office for EU informed today. The trade balance surplus in euro area reached EUR6.3 billion, which is much higher than EUR4.5 billion estimated by analysts. In May seasonally adjusted imports fell by 0.9% and exports reported increase by 0.3%. For the whole EU27 trade balance reached EUR3.8 billion of deficit in May.
