European Manufacturing PMI contracted again

The euro zone Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index increased slightly to 46.9 in December from 28-month low 46.4 in November.

It is a fifth successive manufacturing activity decline.

According to analysts PMI will remain under 50 points at the beginning of 2012.

In the Markit report we can see an increase in New Orders department for December to 43.5 from 42.2 in November 2011.

After report release euro kept on loosing against US dollar with the couple traded at 1.2949.
