GDP fell by 0.2% in fourth quarter…

German economy in down in last quarter of 2011.

German GDP fell by 0.2% in last quarter of 2011- Federal Statistics Office informed today. It is in line with analysts’ expectations.

The yearly reading for fourth quarter showed (not seasonally adjusted) 1.5% economy growth as expected.

After adjusting GDP with seasonally factors, German economy grew by 2% in last three months of 2011, comparing with 2010.
