The Federal Statistics Office- Destatis reported today that German producer prices increased by seasonally adjusted 0.2% in April. Change follows rise by 0.6% in March. Analysts expected faster pace of increase- at least 0.4% in April. Comparing with 2011 index rose at annual rate of 2.4% in April, after gaining 3.3% in March. In the early afternoon Euro was traded lower against USD. Couple reached 1.2689.
