Trade surplus in Germany decline as expected.

German trade balance

Germany in February recorded a decline in positive trade balance value.

 As Federal Statistics Office informed that surplus in trade reached EUR13.6 billion, in line with economists’ expectations.

Prior month data was revised to 15.1 billion euros. Country’s imports improved by 3.9% in February.

The increase follows previous month’s gain by 3.4%.

Exports also gained by 1.6%, disappointing expectations for 1.2% decrease.
