As expected ECB’s key interest rate remained unchanged in May. European Central Bank keeps its benchmark rate at 1.0%.
The press conference will be hold later today with ECB’s president Mario Draghi.
Marginal lending rate stayed at 1.75% and deposit facility rate at 0.25%.
Decision did not have strong impact on Euro currency which remained lower against USD. The couple was traded at 1.327.
