The purchasing managers’ index in services sector in U.K. decrease more than estimated last month. Markit reported today that index reached only 53.3 in April, instead 54.6 expected.
Previous month data showed reading of 55.3.
Although index is remaining for long time in expansion area, today’s reading was the lowest in last couple of month.
U.S. dollar was traded higher against British pound at 1.6168 after report release.
