Spain sold 3.56 billions Euros ($4.8 billion) of a new 10-year benchmark at an average yield of almost 7 %, the most since the euro's creation.
Spain's Treasury sold bonds due in January 2022 at an average yield of 6.975%, up from 5.433% when it auctioned debt maturing in April 2021 last month.
French borrowing costs rose to 2.82% at an auction of July 2016 notes, up from 2.31% at the previous offer.
Meanwhile France is calling for European Central Bank actions against debt crisis in Europe, but Germany keeps rejecting the calls.
