House Prices in the United Kingdom were little changed this month in September as they increased by 0.1% as expected. The HPI in August was minus 0.6% in Great Britain. Price of a typical home is now 166,256 British Pounds.
Compared to September 2010, a price of a normal home in the U.K is 0.3% lower this year counting September 2011 and the three-on-three month index of house prices was unchanged this month.
Sterling saw big fluctuation against the U.S Dollar in time of the news release. GBPUSD was trading at 1.5633 just before the news release, went up to 1.5641 within 10 minutes and dropped up to 1.5613 within an hour of the release.
