According to U.K. National Statistics Office public sector net borrowing was amounted for GBP10.8 billion in December. November’s data was revised to 15.1 billion pounds.
Total of 12.5 billion pounds was expected by economists.
The net borrowing excluding public sector interventions reached GBP13.7 billion, down from 14.9 billion pounds in previous reading.
