According to U.S. Census Bureau number of building permits issued in November increased to a seasonally adjusted 680 000 from 644 000 in October. It is the highest level since March 2010.
Analysts had expected for November decrease by 1.4% to 635 000.
U.S. Housing Starts climbed by 9.3% to 685 000. It is also the highest increase since April 2010, exceeding much the expectations for only 1.1% rise.
