Durable Goods Orders higher in December...

U.S. Core Durable Goods Orders

The Durable Goods Orders surprisingly rose by seasonally adjusted 3.0%, exceeding only 2.0% expectations.

The U.S. Census Bureau announced today that country’s Core Durable Goods Orders also climbed more than estimated in December.

The index rose by seasonally adjusted 2.1% instead of expected 0.9%, after November’s growth by 0.5%.

Good economic data did not change daily tendency of Euro gaining against dollar. The pair EUR/USD was traded at 1.3161 after news release.
