The U.S. Commerce Department informed today that surprisingly number of building permits issued in July increased by 6.8% to give total of 0.812 million. It is the highest reading in the last four years. The report also showed that at the same time housing starts index fell by 1.1% to total of 0.746 million in July. Analysts expected a reading of 0.756 million instead. The couple EUR/USD was traded at 1.2310 after data release.
