The housing starts index in US fell by 1.1% in February- Commerce Department said today.
The number of constructions started previous month fell to 698 000 from 706 000 reported in January.
The U.S. Commerce Department informed also today that the amount of building permits increased by 5.1% in February, which gives a rise to 717 000 from almost 690 000 in January.
After news release euro remained lower against US dollar, with couple traded at 1.3187.
