Less Americans than expected applied for unemployment benefit last week...

U.S. initial claims declined to 351 000 last week…

For the week ended March 10th Labor Department reported today a decrease in initial unemployment claims by 14 000 from prior week revised 365 000.

The less volatile, four weeks average claims remained unchanged at 355 750.

Successively decreasing jobless claims might indicate an improvement in American labor market.

Euro was traded higher against US dollar at the time of report release. The couple reached 1.3058.
