U.S. retail sales climbed up, but still slower than expected...

U.S. retail sales disappointing

Data presented today by U.S. Census Bureau indicate a rise in retail sales, but it is the slowest growth in last five months.

Retail sales grew by seasonally adjusted 0.2% in November, disappointing expectations of 0.6% rise.

According to report, core retail sales excluding automobile also rose 0.2% last month. It is also slower growth than expected 0.5%.

At the time of report release U.S. dollar stayed lower against euro, with EUR/USD traded at 1.3194.
