Unemployment rate in Canada increased

The Statistics Canada informed today than country’s unemployment rate rose to seasonally adjusted 7.3% in April.
The change seemed unexpected for analysts, who estimated next reading of 7.2%, or even decline to 7.0%.
In the meantime Canadian employers added 58 200 payrolls in April, which is higher than 10 000 expected.
Previous month data showed 82 300 new jobs created.
