April’s reading of unemployment rate in Japan showed increase in the index to seasonally adjusted 4.6%. After reaching 4.5% in March analysts expected no change in index. Government’s Statistics Bureau confirmed also that that at the same time number of payrolls created last month rose by 3.6% from March. Comparing with April 2011 new jobs created increased by 14.2%.
