The U.S. unemployment claims for the week ended January 28th fell by 12 000 to reach seasonally adjusted 367 000. Analysts expected 373 000 people filing applications for unemployment benefit. Previous week’s data was revised to 379 000.
The Labor Department reported also continuing jobless claims decrease to 3.44 million for the week ended January 21st.
