Microsoft Windows 10 are finally unleashed – a user sour feeling.
“It was made by the users for the users” – the famous motto that Microsoft wants us to embrace by using their latest glorious OS. It is indeed if you are caught in the upgrade train and the overall experience is getting more positive by the minute using it.
As there is always room for improvement we are pondering today the question ” what does Windows 10 need to make it a better product “? We have come up with some ways following the user feedback.
For starters, Microsoft can bring all those promised missing features to the new Edge web browser in short order. We’d also like to see the company tighten up the new Start menu, and indeed Windows Update for that matter.
Give Cortana to the people – still not available in many regions. A viable feature especially for Windows Phone users.
We’d like the Store to be far more reliable – it’s the app most likely to have connectivity problems, and there have been numerous bugs where app updates don’t download automatically. Apps variety is increasing by the minute and to be fair everything you need for daily tasks is there to be picked up – and FREE in most cases!
More freedom to arrange windows – the virtual desktops are indeed spot on when needed but multi-window browsing or navigation still leaves something to be desired.
Windows 10 might be “the last version of Windows” so we want it to be also the “best version of Windows”. So hang on as a breeze of updates is on the horizon.
