Samsung Galaxy Note 5

The best big Android phablet with a stylus just got better – although by a margin

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is either a game changer or deal breaker for longtime fans of the Android phablet but now it has the looks and the feel to make your decision even more challenging.

Its 5.7-inch gorgeous display, super-fast processor, improved camera and S Pen stylus are joined by a new, glass and metal design – a huge leap over last year’s Galaxy Note 4 which Samsung used a cheap textured plastic. Samsung’s build quality is finally fit to compete with the aluminium iPhone 6 Plus and the Huawei Ascend Mate 7.

Upgraded quality comes at a cost however and that is the lack of a micro SD Card slot and a removable battery. Glass back which curves inward on the right and left side makes handling a bit challenging. SIM size is also going downwards from micro to nano and is housed in an electable external tray.

Megapixels don’t always mean everything when it comes to the best camera phones, so some 13MP, 16MP, 20MP snappers can’t compare to the 8MP iPhone 6 camera. That’s not the case with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 camera, because it’s 16MP actually lives up to that Apple-doubling number. With the same Sony Exmor RS IMX240 sensor that its smaller “brothers” use gives out punchier and dare to say sharper images than its competition – all wrapped in a finely tuned interface. 4K Video is still here to keep satisfied any Movie Director wannabe.

All in all step forward which helps Samsung to keep its position in Phablet marker secured.

Want to have it ? Then if you live in USA you can be one of the lucky ones to get it while major Carriers release it the coming few days. If you are located in UK or Europe then this has to wait for the first quarter of 2016.

Hold the line boys and girls as it might worth the wait.
